So, here goes a very unusual type of blog post from me. Basically I am reaching out to see if there is any interest in joining me as a co-partner for this website and project, or just as a co-author.
While this website was initially my own little baby, and has steadily grown to have over 5,000 visitors per month, I am now determined to find suitable co-partner(s) to take this project on with me to improve and take it to the next level. Unfortunately, a day only has 24 hours, and there’s only so much one can do flying solo — and I am a fairly busy fellah already.
What will happen to the BLF website?
- One of the things that will happen in the short time ahead is at least that most, if not all, of the personal content will be taken away. That way, it can easier develop into a community, have several authors and so forth.
- Moreover, the content revolving around self-help, productivity, work and personal stuff will be moved to www.jonandrepedersen.com. That way, the BLF website can focus solely on travels and bucket list worthy stuff in a more concentrated and deeper manner.
- In the long-run it will likely also be moving away from just being a blog/magazine to also becoming a website portal where users can easily establish and collaborate on their own life goals with friends and anything in between. Some developers have already reached out to me about that, so we’ll see what happens!
Some details for partner of Bucket List Fanatic:
- What kind of deal we come up with would depend on your time commitment, effort, and skills — but I’m open to a 50-50 deals etc.
- You could just casually join as a co-author, guest blog author, or anything in between — if you would rather prefer that. Which could help you gain personal exposure and even revenue if the posts are popular.
So think about it. Do you also like writing content that inspires and helps others? Do you have a passion for bucket lists? Or maybe you just have valuable skills and interests that you could contribute to BLF and its readers from all around the world?
If interested, then get in touch via the contact form, or message me via the Facebook page.
Cheers,
Jon | Bucket List Fanatic
Sad to hear that your personal content will be gone 🙁
Hehe cheers buddy. I was never the “diary”-type of writer anyways, and generally preferred covering “How To’s” and “listified” articles 😀
Hi Jon,
I’ve been looking around at a few bucket list sites, as I have been building a site (Bucket List Explorers) for fun, just to learn how to build a site really and try to understand SEO a bit more.
Writing isn’t my strongest point, but take a look and see if there is anything we could maybe do together?
Many thanks
