Did you know that the Disney castles, such as Cinderella’s Castle at Disney World and Sleeping Beauty’s Castle in Disney Land, were inspired by a castle in Germany called Neuschwanstein? Ever since learning about this a few years ago and seeing amazing photos of the castle — I’ve been wanting to get up close and see this beauty for myself. Bucket List Fanatic was originally created by Jon Pedersen as a blog to help and motivate people around the world to pursue their own dreams and learn more about some of the wonders of the world. While the website eventually amassed over 10,000 monthly visitors, Jon got too busy on other projects to have any time writing and maintaining the website — and additionally, he much more enjoyed doing stuff on his bucket list than writing about them, particularly so since he never had the goal of making the website revolve around him but instead about empowering and helping others.

So, while you may find some traces of posts or other content on the website, it is essentially only being kept alive to maintain Jon’s 1,000+ bucket list — which he wants to keep public to help him stay accountable to his goals. Hopefully, his list may also inspire you to create your own.
